The HOFFMAN 1A 1/8” Adjustable Angle Radiator Steam Vent is a high-quality, float-type steam vent that is used in residential and commercial one-pipe steam HVAC systems, the vent has an adjustable angle and 1/8” NPT connection to help control the release of steam and maintain the efficiency of the radiator and its heat output. It has a 10 PSI pressure rating and evacuates air from the system to reduce the formation of air pockets which may hinder the heating process and the efficiency of the system. The float-type mechanism helps keep the float-type mechanism closed when steam gets to the vent to minimize the loss of excessive steam.
