Description
The Nidec-Embraco 2324017-ESP Overload Protector is an essential safeguard that is mainly applied in refrigeration compressors of HVAC systems particularly refrigerators and freezers. This unit protects the compressor motor from overcurrent or overheating conditions that may be detrimental to the motor. In its working, it measures the electrical current and temperature of the motor. In case of overload for example, when the rotor is locked or the surrounding temperatures are high, the protector switches off the circuit to avoid burning out the motor. Advantages involve the compressor durability, fewer maintenance costs, and enhancement of the general performance of the appliances.
