The Sporlan Controls 169961 1/2-Ton Thermal Expansion Valve(TXV) operates as an efficient product which controls refrigerant flow to achieve proper superheat levels within HVAC systems and refrigeration systems that use R-22 refrigerant. A 1/8″ inlet and 1/2″ ODF outlet operate with a 1/2-ton capacity to provide accurate refrigerant metering which protects the evaporator from overfeeding or starvation conditions.
