The Heatcraft Refrigeration 29311019 1/2-Ton Expansion Valve Kit is a metering part for refrigerant, which is used in the correct amount of liquid refrigerant entering the evaporator coil to achieve the proper cooling Kit: 3/8″ ODF Inlet X 1/2″ ODF Outlet. It is applied in air conditioners, refrigeration systems, and heat pumps in the HVAC systems and can be used with R22, R407A, and R407C refrigerants. The valve provides a correct evaporator pressure by regulating the flow of refrigerant in accordance with temperature, and load conditions to avoid overfeeding or underfeeding the coil. It assists in the system to retain efficient heat exchange, shields the compressor.
