Description
The Lennox 31M44 Flue Box Gasket is a sealing unit to prevent flue gas leakage at the connection point of the flue box, maintaining proper combustion isolation and airflow control in HVAC systems. It functions by creating a tight barrier between adjoining surfaces, resisting heat and pressure generated during furnace operation. Positioned between the flue box and surrounding panels, it supports secure assembly and safe exhaust handling. It stabilizes efficiency, reduces the chance of gas escape, and preserves proper draft and combustion conditions, and the unit works by compressing between mating surfaces, forming a barrier.
