The Lennox Y7708 Mini-Split Wireless Remote Control is a handheld infrared controller used to operate compatible mini-split indoor units. It sends wireless signal to adjust temperature settings, operating modes, fan speed, and airflow direction without requiring direct contact with the unit. In HVAC systems, it is paired with select ductless mini-split models to provide user control over indoor comfort settings from a distance. The remote communicates with the indoor receiver to manage start/stop commands and system adjustments during normal operation.
