Description
The Trane FUS02293 3A Fuse Flat Blade ATC 3 opens an electrical circuit when current rises above its 3A rating. During an overcurrent condition the fusible element melt and break electrical continuity, separating the affected branch from the incoming current. The ATC 3 configuration identifies the fuse format used for the circuit. Installed in low-voltage electrical wiring, it protects connected controls and wiring in HVAC systems from excessive current. Once the rated current is exceeded, the opening of the fuse stops current from continuing through that branch of the electrical circuit.
