The Trane DHY01482 1.1″ Liquid Line Filter Drier 60″ Cubic Solid Core removes moisture, acids, and solid particles from refrigerant flowing through the liquid line. It operates using a solid desiccant core that absorbs contaminants while a filter section captures debris carried by the refrigerant stream. Within HVAC systems, it is mounted in the liquid line to protect expansion parts and other sensitive components from contamination.
