Description
The Trane BLW01371 Draft Inducer Blower Motor is a combustion airflow component used to support flue gas movement in gas-fired heating equipment within HVAC systems. It operates by rotating an inducer wheel with a rated speed of 3075 RPM with a single-phase, 208 to 230 V, 60 Hz electrical supply which produces a controlled negative pressure that forces the combustion gases through the heat exchanger and vent pathway. It is used in the burner cycles to ensure that the airflow in the combustion chamber and exhaust section is maintained in order to ensure that the venting conditions remain stable throughout the heating process.
