Description
The Trane DSK00092 Rupture Disk is a pressure-relief safety part used in fluid or steam piping associated with it to prevent overpressure situations in HVAC systems. It is placed between the piping or vessel connections and is designed for 3″ NPS – 15″ NPS, 300°F, and 150 PSI, when the pressure and temperature reach a preset point to allow a controlled burst point. It is a fail-safe part to aid in preventing the destruction of boilers, heat exchangers, or pressure vessels by alleviating excessive internal pressure and aiding in safe unit operation.
