The Trane DHY01276 Liquid Line Filter Drier removes moisture, acids, and particulate matter from refrigerant flow before it reaches sensitive system sections. Its internal desiccant and filtration core captures contaminants carried through the liquid line, allowing only conditioned cooling fluid to continue through the circuit. It features 0.31-inch ODS inlet and outlet connections and is brazed into liquid condensate piping of air-conditioning units, heat pumps, and refrigeration HVAC systems where water vapor purity is required for stable operation. Filtration action assists with blockage reduction, cooling agent cleanliness, and steady flow through expansion and compression pathways during active temperature-control operation.
