The Trane DHY01081 Drier Liquid Line Filter is used to eliminate moisture, acids, and contaminants from the refrigerant flow in residential, and commercial HVAC systems. It is installed in compatible liquid line and refrigerant management assemblies to prevent contamination of the compressors, expansion valves, and other cooling components during use. With a 0.38-inch SAE connection, it fits into designated applications for filtration and moisture removal of the refrigerant in compatible cooling equipment. This refrigerant piping and filtration areas help to provide cleaner refrigerant flow, better component protection and efficient cooling system operation.
