Description
The Trane THT02437 Limit Switch Auto Reset 190F Open 160F Close monitors temperature inside the unit and changes electrical contact status when preset limits are reached. It operates through a bimetal sensing element that reacts to heat expansion, opening the circuit at a higher temperature and closing it again after cooling to a lower reset point. Within HVAC systems, it is mounted in airflow or heat-exposed sections to monitor internal thermal conditions. Its calibrated temperature thresholds provide a controlled switching response, preventing excessive heat buildup and restoring circuit continuity once normal conditions return.
