Description
The Trane SWT01036 High-Limit Thermostat Switch is used in heating equipment to monitor the temperature and prevent overheating. It’s placed close to the heat exchanger or air flow path and responds to an excessive accumulation of heat while the system is running. When the temperature is at a level, it turns off the burner or electric heat source to prevent damage to the internal components. It is widely used in furnace assemblies for residential and commercial installations thermal cycling operation of the furnace.
