Description
The Trane GKT01651 Header Gasket seals the joint between the coil stub and the tube sheet on 4-row refrigerant coil assemblies using 0.500-inch diameter tubes in air handlers and rooftop HVAC systems where direct-expansion or chilled water refrigerant circuits pass through multi-row coil configurations. It compresses against the mating surfaces of its portion and tube sheet faces during assembly, forming a continuous seal around the tube that prevents chilled water from bypassing the circuit into the surrounding airstream or escaping the coil assembly at the header joint.
