Description
The Trane SEN03255 Evaporator Leaving Temperature Sensor measures the temperature of air or refrigerant exiting the evaporator coil in HVAC systems. Mounted directly on the suction line or leaving air plenum, the sensitive thermistor element continuously tracks temperature changes and converts them into variable resistance signals sent to the primary logic board. Sending accurate temperature feedback allows the system controller to detect potential coil freeze-ups, adjust electronic metering valve response automatically, and support efficient cooling cycle management under changing ambient indoor cooling conditions.
