The Trane SLG00123 Rain Shield Cover is a protective accessory to prevent rain, moisture, and airborne debris from reaching the 7″ diameter condenser fan motor during operation. Positioned above the motor housing, it supports deflecting water away from sensitive electrical and rotating components while allowing proper ventilation around the assembly. Commonly applied in rooftop units, outdoor condensing units, split HVAC systems and packaged air conditioning equipment, this cover is mounted directly over compatible fan motors to support the outdoor operation.
