Description
The Trane CTR02654 2-Pole Magnetic Contactor switches electrical power circuits using a 24VAC control input for coordinated operation of high-voltage loads within HVAC equipment. Rated for 600V switching with a 6.3VA nominal coil requirement, the contactor uses an electromagnetic mechanism to open or close two power paths during equipment operation. Mounted in air conditioners, heat pumps, rooftop units, and ventilation HVAC systems where controlled energizing of compressors, motors, or heating circuits is required. Magnetic actuation assists with controlled load involvement, regulated electrical transfer, and synchronized operation between low-voltage controls and high-power system sections.
