Description
The Trane COL19887 Coil Contactor 110/120 VAC, 50/60 Hz is an electromechanical coil used to energize and control a compatible contactor assembly. When voltage is applied the coil generates a magnetic field that pulls in the contactor, allowing high-voltage power to flow to loads such as compressors, condenser fans or other components. When de-energized, it releases the contactor to interrupt the circuit safely in HVAC systems. Installed in outdoor condensing units and packaged systems, it is commonly replaced during service or repair to restore reliable switching performance & consistent operation during heating and cooling cycles.
