Description
The Trane VAL03217 Solenoid Valve is an electrically operated part to regulate the flow of refrigerant or other process fluids in HVAC systems. It is an open or closed circuit that can be automatically regulated to control the circuits of fluids in air conditioners, heat pumps, chillers, or hydronic systems. It is installed in series with piping or tubing with a 1-1/8″ outside diameter and with a 2-way connection to system controls to adjust the flow by demand. It is used to help manage the flow correctly and help in the efficient control of temperature and the sequence of operation.
