Description
The Trane VAL01722 Check Valve maintains straight-line refrigerant flow within heat pump and cooling circuits. Installed into liquid or discharge lines through 0.63” ODS X 0.63” ODS solder connections in HVAC systems, the 6.81-inch long inline valve houses an internal seating disc and light spring mechanism. Reversible fluid pressure pushes the disc open to permit full refrigerant flow, while inverse pressure instantly positions the disc to prevent backflow. Restricting flow to one direction prevents high-pressure migration during unit off-cycles, maintains correct refrigeration staging, and supports stable system performance during heat pump changeover modes.
