Description
The Trane COL19889 Contactor Coil generates the electromagnetic field necessary to pull in the contactor armature and close the power circuit to connected loads within high-amperage switching assemblies. When the control circuit delivers line voltage to the coil terminals, completing the power path to the compressor, condenser fan, or other motor load until the voltage signal is removed. Rated at 110/120 VAC and compatible with both 50 Hz and 60 Hz electrical supply standards, it fits within the contactor body of condensing units and rooftop packaged HVAC systems, dropping directly into the existing contactor frame without modification to the surrounding panel wiring.
