Description
The York S1-D4120 Smoke Detector Duct Photoelectric is a secure monitoring component that identifies smoke in air ducts, allowing prompt action to be taken against possible fire conditions in HVAC systems. It uses a photoelectric sensing technique to detect smoke particles by detecting light scattering in the sensor chamber, which ensures proper detection. It is mounted within ductwork sections and linked to building control or alarm systems to signal promptly. Its application assists in the timely detection of hazards, prevents the spread of smoke via ducts, and assists in ensuring safer indoor air conditions and system operation.
