Description
The Zilmet ZEP5 Thermal Expansion Tank is an in-line extension storage component used to control pressure changes in HVAC systems. It absorbs excess water volume that builds up as water heats preventing pressure spikes that could damage pipes, valves or water heater components. The tank features a 2.1-gallon capacity with a 3/4″ NPT and a diaphragm separation design that isolates air and water chambers for 150 PSI stable pressure regulation at 210F. It runs as a stabilization component during normal heating, standby, and recovery cycles in plumbing and air-conditioner-integrated systems.
