Description
The Trane VAL19031 is a Thermal Expansion Valve, for the accurate regulation of refrigerant in air conditioning and refrigeration applications. It works using the detection of the temperature of the evaporator with a flow of refrigerant depending on the signal detected. The evaporator temperature increases and the TXV opens up to pass more refrigerant while a decrease in temperature causes the valve to close up to allow less flow of refrigerant. This dynamic control enhances the efficiency and performance of the system. It can be used with chillers, rooftop units, and split systems and has advantages ranging from increasing energy efficiency, and cooling capacity, to preventing and reducing wear on system parts.
