The Trane VAL7896 8-ton TXV refrigerant that is intended for commercial HVAC applications. TXVs are essential parts of air conditioning systems, which are used to measure the correct amount of refrigerant to be admitted into the evaporator. This is essential to help achieve an efficiently designed system and to ensure the right amount of superheat is being used within the evaporator. It has tubes and a split face coil for the construction to enhance the heat transfer rates. It works based on temperature detection. One sensor is placed on the evaporator and the other is a sensing bulb that measures the refrigerant temperature.
