Description
The York S1-025-52061-000 Thermal Expansion Valve (TXV) CHAT X CHAT is a vital element in HVAC systems. The TXV normally serves to act as an accurate limiting part and measures the amount of refrigerant allowed into the evaporator. The TXV works based on the temperature sensing principle. A temperature bulb provided at the evaporator end measures refrigerant temperature. When the refrigerant is cooling the environment within the evaporator, the temperature of the bulb increases. This temperature increase causes the internal valve of the TXV to open up, and allow more refrigerant to enter the evaporator.
