Description
The York S1-RP-5604 pint overload switch is used to protect dehumidifiers from damage that may be caused by electrical overload. It serves a protective function, by interrupting power to the dehumidifier if the current drawn rises beyond a prescribed level. This helps avoid heating up of the motors with their consequential burnout, and other electrical faults that are detrimental to the life of the dehumidifier and its operation. The differing factor is central to all kinds of dehumidifiers applied in residential/information use and industrial/ HVAC systems used for regulating humidity and enhancing indoor quality air.
