Description
The Resideo S87D1004/B Direct Spark Ignition Control Module is designed to provide safe and efficient ignition for gas-fired HVAC systems. It creates a high voltage spark to ignite the natural gas or LPG and start the process of combustion. The ignition fails after 6 seconds, and the system locks out to avoid the accumulation of unburned gas. It is intended for use in furnaces, boilers and water heaters and can handle a 2A valve load at 25V AC. Ranging from -40°F to 175°F, it has an alarm terminal to increase the monitoring capability. This module also increases ignition durability and decreases service expenses and hazards with accurate sensitivity and response time.
