Description
The Carrier EA36YP272 Thermal Expansion Valve (TXV) regulates refrigerant flow into the evaporator according to changing temperature and pressure conditions. Its sensing mechanism responds to the evaporator conditions and adjusts the internal opening to vary refrigerant delivery. Installed at the evaporator inlet, the valve works with the sensing bulb, equalizer connection and surrounding refrigerant piping. The controlled metering arrangement supplies refrigerant to the heat-transfer section as operating conditions change in HVAC systems. This coordinated response keeps refrigerant movement through the evaporator aligned with the requirements of the connected cooling circuit.
