Description
The Sporlan Controls 12-Ton Thermostatic Expansion Valve (TXV) 168781 is used to regulate the flow of refrigerant to ensure the correct amount of superheat in the system, efficiency and ensure the compressor is not damaged. It can be operated with R22 refrigerant and has 5/8″ x 7/8″ ODF connections, which enable the refrigerant to enter the evaporator coil to be modulated accurately. It can be installed in the liquid line close to the evaporator and attached to the sensing bulb to make sure that it responds to temperature correctly and it is suitable for both commercial and large residential settings.
