Description
The Trane SWT2976 is a single pole single throw pressure switch designed mainly for use in HVAC equipments. By constantly keeping track of the pressure in the air and changing an electrical circuit in order to open or close on command, it is a safety mechanism. The switch broke or allows the electrical flow in the circuit in the event that the air pressure surpasses a fixed standard. This shields HVAC systems against the possibility of getting damaged by variations of air pressure. For instance, where ventilation is compromised it can prevent a furnace from getting too hot.
