Description
The Rheem Ruud SP11698 is an electric thermostat used only for water heaters . One of its features is Temperature Control in a case of Overheating of the water that it holds. This thermostat comes mounted with temperature sensitive bulb which works upon the heat developed by the water. When the water gets to the temperature range of 90°F to 150°F the heater is disconnected from the source hence switching off the heating element by the thermostat. Other is a single thermostat which turns on the heating part when the water is cooling down for sustaining the set temperature. Heating control differential is also known as temp differential which is between 17 °F to 27 °F this is the temperature range with which the thermostat is able to turn on and off.
