Description
The Kromschroder 88001849 Gas Solenoid Valve is an electrically operated part used in gas-fired equipment to regulate the flow of natural gas, or propane in HVAC systems. It opens to enable the flow of gas and closes to prevent it when energized with 120 VAC power to permit safe, and controlled flow of fuel to burners. It is installed in the gas line of furnaces, boilers, or commercial heaters that have a 1-inch NPT connection and connects with the control and safety circuits of the system. It is used to sequence combustion and ensure safe operation.
