The Regal Rexnord – Marathon G663A Explosion Proof Motor is a 1 HP motor that runs at around 1725 RPM on 230/460 V three-phase power and has an explosion-proof fan-cooled enclosure to be used in hazardous situations. It works by transforming electrical energy into rotational energy to power fans, pumps, or mechanical equipment in HVAC systems in industrial air handling units and ventilation systems. The explosion-proof structure has internal sparks or heat, which does not allow ignition in the flammable gases or vapors atmosphere.
