Description
The Lennox 15P86 Defrost Sensor Wiring Harness is used in heat pump systems to monitor coil temperature and support accurate defrost operation in HVAC systems. It connects multiple temperature sensing points to the unit control board, including two sensor leads 50-inch and 12-inch, along with an integrated fixed resistor used for circuit calibration in place of a third sensor. It used in outdoor heat pump units it helps ensure proper frost detection on the evaporator coil, and enables the system to trigger defrost cycles when needed.
