Description
The ASCO 8221G13-12VDC Slow Closing Solenoid Valve is used to control the flow of liquids or gases by opening or closing in response to electrical control to operate the system. It is used as a 5-125 PSI pressure range, 2″ normally closed, and 12 VDC coil in HVAC systems with fluid and gas control applications, where a low rate of closing is desired to prevent pressure surges. It is installed in the system piping to facilitate a smooth flow, reduce hydraulic shock stabilise pressures, improve component operation, and help provide consistent operation in mechanical system configurations.
