Description
The Bradford White 415-32999-06 Aluminum Anode Rod is a water heater protection component used in hot water heating equipment to reduce tank corrosion by attracting corrosive elements within the storage vessel. It contains an aluminum rod with a 3/4 inch NPT threaded connection and a 2 inch nipple section, extending to a total length of 42 inches for proper insertion into compatible water heater tanks. In HVAC systems it is fitted into the water heater tank’s anode port allowing direct contact with stored water to slow internal metal deterioration.
