The Carrier 345585-75103 Inducer Motor Assembly generates the circulating air essential to move combustion gases through the heat exchanger and venting system before and during burner operation. Installed within compatible HVAC systems, the assembly combines the inducer motor, housing, and blower wheel to establish the airflow needed for proper combustion and pressure switch operation. It is mounted to the furnace combustion section and connected to the flue outlet as a component of the venting assembly. By producing a controlled draft, the assembly creates the conditions necessary for safe ignition and efficient removal of combustion by products.
