Description
The Carrier 39TA-R080780410 Thermal Expansion Valve (TXV) is used to control the flow of refrigerant entering the evaporator, temperature, and pressure in air conditioning and refrigeration HVAC systems. It reacts to a sensing bulb which measures the outlet conditions to control the superheat to deliver refrigerant under controlled conditions for the load requirement. It is fitted on the liquid line evaporator coil and between the supply line and the distributor assembly. Its operation aids in the efficient heat transfer, avoids unnecessary liquid returning, and contributes to the stable cooling efficiency within the system.
