Description
The Copeland 020-0757-03 Gasket Valve Plate is a compressor internal sealing gasket used in reciprocating semi-hermetic refrigeration compressors to seal the interface between the valve plate and mating compressor surfaces in HVAC systems. It is installed between the valve plate and the compressor head assembly, where it provides a sealing surface that separates high-pressure discharge passages from low-pressure suction areas. Within the compressor structure it supports the integrity of the valve plate assembly by preventing internal leakage between pressure zones during compression and discharge cycles.
