Description
The Copeland Comfort Control (Alco) 060857 R22 Thermal Expansion Valve (TXV) is a flow-regulating part that controls the refrigerant entering the evaporator in response to changing load condition. Rated for 4-ton application and intended for R22 and it automatically adjusts the flow rate by sensing temperature changes in HVAC systems, allowing proper superheat to be maintained throughout operation. The valve connects within the sealed piping circuit where it regulates fluid flow without manual adjustment.
