Description
The Copeland ZR160KCE-TED-965 Compressor is used to pump refrigerant in cooling equipment to keep the temperature in check in HVAC systems. It is capable of drawing low-pressure refrigerant vapour, and compressing it at higher pressures and temperatures, which are then directed to the condenser, where it rejects heat. It has a 160,000 BTU capacity, operates on a 460 V/3 PH electrical supply, uses R22 refrigerant, and maintains continuous refrigerant circulation in the system. It is installed in packaged equipment or condensing units where moving refrigerant is needed. This constant level of pressure facilitates, effective heat exchange during the cooling process.
