Description
The Heatcraft Refrigeration 7077111 79″ Defrost Heater is used to melt accumulated ice on the evaporator coils to maintain continuous heat exchange and airflow within HVAC systems. With a rated power of 230 V, and a rated output of 720W it has enough thermal capacity to remove ice build-up effectively and is about 79″ long. It works by heating up an electric heating element that heats the coil temperature to eliminate frost build-up. It is installed either at the side or below the evaporator coils in refrigeration units and is interconnected with the controls.
