Description
The Honeywell HVFD3D3C0015G100C 1.5 HP Variable Frequency Drive is specially used for driving AC motors of HVAC systems. This VFD works at 460V and is installed in a NEMA 1 enclosure, it changes the frequency and voltage fed to the motor to allow speed control. This is especially essential as far as efficiencies of HVAC equipment including fans and pumps are concerned. The VFD optimizes energy use by synchronizing motor speed with actual load requirement, increases system efficiency, reduces damage hence increasing equipment life, and offers gradual start and stop motions which reduce mechanical strain. This leads to improved operating efficiency and system reliability as a result of the reduced costs of operation.
