Description
The Johnson Controls WHA-GM2-08 Refrigerant Sensor detects low-level refrigerant leaks in areas where moderately flammable refrigerants are present. With its 26.2-foot sensor cable, the module can be positioned within equipment enclosures, mechanical chambers or ductwork in HVAC systems. It continuously monitors the surrounding air for refrigerant concentrations, and sends a signal when the detected level exceeds the established threshold. That signal can activate safety relays, ventilation fans or alarm circuits according to the connected control arrangement. Early detection allows the associated safety functions to respond when refrigerant begins accumulating in A2L applications.
