Description
The Lennox Y3949 Electric Expansion Valve Sub Assembly controls the flow of refrigerant into the evaporator of a heat pump system, including the GWH12MBA3DNA1A/O split system. It regulates the amount of liquid air conditioner entering the indoor coil by responding to pressure and temperature signals and capacity with compressor load. It is mounted in the refrigerant line between the outdoor unit and the indoor coil, integrated into the heat-pump circuit as a matched component. In service, it supports maintaining stable indoor temperatures, improves part-load efficiency and supports quieter, more consistent operation.
