The Raypak 011897F Air Filter Kit contains filtration components that removes airborne dust and debris from the air entering a heating unit. By capturing unwanted particles before they reach internal passages the filter keeps combustion air path clearer, and limit contamination around sensitive sections. Positioned at the air intake, where incoming air passes through the filtering media before reaching the burner or related combustion area. Clean intake air is necessary for proper fuel-air mixing and controlled flame production for HVAC systems. Regular inspection of the filter condition allows restricted or heavily loaded media to be identified before airflow becomes inadequate.
