Description
The Rheem-Ruud 61-103652-19 1.5 Ton Thermal Expansion Valve (TXV) is a refrigerant metering system that regulates the amount of R410A refrigerant entering the evaporator coil according to cooling demand. By responding to changes in refrigerant pressure and evaporator temperature the valve adjust refrigerant flow to maintain the proper balance between liquid and vapor throughout the cooling cycle in HVAC systems. It is installed in the liquid line ahead of the evaporator to control refrigerant delivery.
