The Rheem-Ruud RCHZ4821STANVU Evaporator Coil W/Drain Pan is an indoor assembly for heat absorption from circulated air and the built-in thermostatic expansion valve controls refrigerant flow for efficient cooling. During operation, the condensate is collected and channeled away from the unit in the included drain pan. This assembly is used in residential and light commercial HVAC systems and is installed inside the air handler or furnace cabinet as the main heat exchange unit in the indoor space, providing for uniform airflow, refrigerant control and dependable cooling optimal level.
